2025 Summer Interns

We’re excited to kick off the 6th year of our Kanokla Internship Program with five outstanding interns who will spend the summer gaining hands-on experience, learning about our industry, and contributing to real projects across the company.

Meet the 2025 Kanokla Intern Class:

Cooper Hatfield and Marcus Provost will divide their time in our plant department with a focus on mapping/engineering and broadband technology, supporting network growth and infrastructure planning.

Audrey Smith will be working in customer service, learning how we support our members and deliver a personalized experience.

Trevan Hernandez joins our marketing team and will take on storytelling, campaign planning, and community engagement projects.

Ryan Shelton will be a part of our IT department, focusing on technology upgrades and helping support internal systems and customer installations.

This year, we received over 20 applications, and every applicant went through the same process we use for full-time hiring: applying online, interviews, and collaborative input from multiple Kanokla team members. Our goal is to provide a professional and meaningful internship experience that mirrors a real-world job setting.

In addition to daily tasks, interns will also complete department-specific special projects during their time with us. Projects this summer include:

• Developing and launching marketing campaigns

• Mapping passed locations in our service communities

• Conducting and participating in podcast interviews

• Assisting with IT customer equipment upgrades

• Gaining experience in design and print services

• Learning the inventory management process at our Kanokla store
