IT Services Tech

As an IT Services Tech, you will be responsible for providing top-notch IT support to our diverse clientele, including schools, hospitals, and small businesses in rural Kansas. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving abilities, and exceptional customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

– Provide technical support and troubleshooting for clients’ IT issues.
– Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including DNS, TCP/IP protocols, routing, switching, and VLAN configuration.
– Configure and manage firewalls, VPNs, and remote management tools.
– Administer and support Active Directory and Group Policy.
– Oversee print management, file sharing, and backup & disaster recovery processes.
– Perform server migration and virtualization tasks.
– Collaborate with the team to develop and implement IT solutions and strategies.
– Ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem resolution.
– Implement and manage basic cybersecurity measures, including antivirus software, intrusion detection systems, and patch management.
– Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity and respond to security incidents.
– Educate clients on basic cybersecurity practices and protocols.
– Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT services or a related field.
– Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and networking concepts.
– Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
– Strong communication and customer service skills.
– Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator) are a plus.

Building Maintenance

position is responsible for preventative and ongoing maintenance of the Kanokla properties. Maintenance and repair of property, including buildings, grounds, equipment, and other facilities, are consistent with Kanokla’s mission and established policies and procedures. Serve as a role model to the team by your actions, appearance, manners, language, and general conduct.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
– Maintain Kanokla grounds
– Operate ground care equipment safely and efficiently, such as mowers, trucks, outdoor equipment, etc.
– Be aware and make necessary changes to hazards found on the property.
– Maintenance, painting, moving large equipment, etc.
– Repair of buildings and facilities.
– Make minor repairs as needed.
– Perform janitorial and general maintenance duties.
– Follow the schedule for checking equipment for safety, cleanliness, and good repair.
– Be aware and implement safety guidelines.
– Identify needs, make suggestions, initiate and follow through with appropriate action.
Accountabilities
– Maintain the site(s) effectively and orderly, ensuring that all facilities are kept in good working order, including both interior and exterior areas of the property.
– Grounds and property upkeep and maintenance.
– Perform basic preventive maintenance tasks, such as changing HVAC filters, cleaning air duct diffusers and returns, and replacing light bulbs.

KanOkla Networks is a full-service provider of technology, security, and telecommunications products and services. We are seeking a qualified individual to join our team as a Broadband Technician.
Job Description:
The primary responsibility of the Broadband Technician is to install, configure, and troubleshoot cable and fiber-based telecommunications systems in the Central Kansas/North Central Oklahoma area. The technician will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing equipment and working with other technicians to ensure that our customers receive the best quality service possible. This position requires the ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining excellent customer service skills. Technicians must be able to prioritize tasks and work efficiently while completing tasks in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent required
– Previous experience in an electrical or mechanical field required
– Previous experience with troubleshooting and repairing cable or fiber-based systems is preferred
– Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required
– Experience working with a Windows computer is required
