Under federal law, you have a right, and KanOkla Telephone Association has a duty, to protect the confidentiality of CPNI.  What is CPNI?  Customer Proprietary Network Information includes information concerning your account, including such things as the type and quantity of services you subscribe to, and calling information such as the duration of calls.  Your approval for our use of CPNI may enhance our ability to offer products and services tailored to your specific needs.

A Notice About Your Privacy & Marketing Preferences

At Kanokla, your privacy matters to us. As part of our commitment to protecting your information, we want to inform you about Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI) — a term for the data we have about the services you use with us, like the type of Kanokla phone service plan you have or how often you use certain features. Please note it is Kanokla’s overall company policy and commitment to never provide customer information to any third party.

Under federal law, you’re allowed to opt out of letting us use this information for marketing purposes. If you choose to opt out, we want to make sure you understand what that means:

  • We will not use your service information to offer you personalized recommendations — even if we see something that could save you money or improve your experience.
  • You’ll still receive general updates and promotions, but they won’t be tailored to your current services.
  • CPNI only pertains to your landline phone services/features with us. If you are also an internet customer, you will receive marketing information regarding Kanokla’s broadband internet services.

We completely respect your choice, and your services will never be impacted by this decision. Once you opt-out, CPNI restrictions will remain in place for two years. You can opt out or in at any time, so if you decide later that you’d like to hear about special offers, new features, or upgrades that match your current plan, you’re welcome to opt back in at any time!

You can opt-out online using the form below or call us to request a paper form. We will mail you the form and a prepaid return envelope. If we do not receive your opt-out form within 45 days of the letter, we will consider you opted in. We will send this notice every two years.
