The new KanOkla Directory will be hitting your door the first week of April. Then comes the question - what do you do with your old phone book? Throwing it away is such a waste, and it is not good for the environment when all those old phone books hit the landfill. So, what options do you have?
Your first option will also help out a local Youth Group in your area! If you bring your old KanOkla Directories into one of the KanOkla offices we will donate fifty cents per book to the Youth Group of your choice.
Or, get your Youth Group involved! You can download the flyer attached to this story or located on the main "Communities" page of the KanOkla website. Use it to promote your Youth Group's "Directory Drive" and make some easy extra cash. You can even customize the flyer with your groups information so people will know who is doing the drive and where to bring the books.
Another option, if there are no Youth Groups doing a directory drive in your area, is to find your local recycle center. They would be happy to take your old phone book to have it recycled.
The best part of any of these three options is - you are keeping recyclable trash out of the local land fills. If you have any questions about this program, give us a call at 800.526.6552. We would be happy to help you out.
