Drink and learn about beer for a good cause

Jack’s Abby Brewing in Framingham is hosting a benefit to help support the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.


On Saturday, Jack’s Abby will host the members of the Boston Marathon MS Team in a fundraiser to help them reach their goal of raising $12,000 in donation before next month’s race.


Along with a tasting of the beers, members of Jack’ s Abby and myself will be talking beer, taking questions and having fun.


The event is at 7:30 p.m. at the brewery, 81 Morton St., Framingham. It will cost you a $20 donation to attend.

Last year, much of the mainstream media were willing to dismiss Paul Ryan’s flip-flop from  his previous position on Medicare cuts as mere campaign rhetoric calculated to make President Obama look bad among seniors.


But now Ryan has flipped back again on that issue, and the acrobatics seem to be hurting him, as Noam Scheiber EXPLAINS:

Chris Hayes [above] will take over the 8 p.m. [Eastern] time slot on MSNBC in the next month, the channel announced on Thursday morning, the day after the current host of that hour, Ed Schultz, said he was moving from the weekdays to the weekends.
